El Cielo in Cologne

This is our second time there and we feel very comfortable, the tapas are very tasty and the selection of wines is excellent, the staff is very friendly and always available when needed. The lamb is particularly recommended, but the daily specials are also a highlight.

Very tasty tapas like in Spain! San Miguel draft beer. Ambience to feel good and extremely friendly service! We look forward to the next visit.

We went to El Cielo for the first time last night. It was just an experience. Delicious tapas, cocktails and a good selection of wines. The service is very friendly and professional. Kudos to the restaurateur and the kitchen. The price-performance ratio is right. We will definitely be back ... !!!

Everything we ordered was delicious, but there was still some room for improvement (sometimes a bit of salt was missing, sometimes something pepper or spiciness, crispness). Unfortunately I only have two stars. The tapas were good but I ate much better. The staff is friendly but be careful when the bill comes. We have placed our order. Then the waitress said if we wanted to we could choose something from the counter as a starter that we did because nobody told us that they cost something. At the end of the song we paid 4.50 euros per starter without being directed. The waitress just dismissed it and we still had to pay for it. Last but not least, I had slices of cucumber in my hugo instead of lime, unfortunately I only noticed this when the glass was already half empty, so I told the waitress and I never got a new hugo, nor was it removed from my bill. I am very disappointed and will not come back.

Were there for the first time on 08/11/20. The service was very good. We ordered a selection of starters for 2 people from the very charming service staff. The selection was very well chosen. Main courses were tasty and well worth the price. I would particularly like to highlight the fact that our glasses were never empty for long and the service was just great.
